In my second week, I moved away from my own experience and started to investigate google maps as a tool itself. I began to analyze the color scheme, its perception as natural or artificial, and the grid as a representation of a landscape. I then explored satellite images of the mountains in my hometown and transformed them into a pattern using the kaleidoscope effect. The outcome was a pattern that reminded me of a tilted floor, but it still looked surprisingly real, as if it could exist in nature itself.
